2) Your Skillset
With the right mindset and skill set you will become the person it takes to succeed and when you talk to people you will be able to reduce the tension and increase the cooperation. Your marketing will get so good that the sales part becomes a piece of cake because very little is actually required. Your business will grow by marketing and attraction instead of selling.
This is where people find you because of the person you’ve already become.Who finds who, and who pursues who is a very dynamic thing in positioning yourself for success. People buy from those they perceive as leaders and those they find valuable to them.
Although everything you need to succeed is already in you, you need to learn to repackage it. Use the stupid human trick. Do one thing over and over again, not only will this make you better at that one thing but it will set you free, knowing you are now an expert at that one thing. Your next level of success, no matter where you are now, demands a new you. You have to learn the skills to pay the bills.
Seventeen years ago Aaron Rashkin was working in a gym 15 and 16 hours a day. There were days he slept in the gym. He was only making $2000 a month. One day he woke up and thought ‘I am better than this’. He loved what he did but had no free time and no extra money to enjoy it. He went in to work one day and hadn’t shaved and was sent home for it. He quit and never worked another day in corporate America again. He has been an entrepreneur for 17 years and 2 ½ years ago brought his business online. Since then he has made 2.5 million dollars.
Take care of the people around you and the money part will take care of itself. Money is just dirty paper with dead presidents on it. If you take care of the people around you, providing them with value that they need and want, then you’ll be able to swim in that dirty paper.
It doesn’t matter what product or service you have until you realize that your true product is people. Learn more about them and what triggers people to take action; the other stuff becomes less important.
If you can show people something that they don’t already know and it changes the way they feel and think then you are of value to them. When you provide value, they see you as a leader.
To be a leader, you must see yourself as being the leader that other people want to follow. If you can’t see yourself as a leader, you won’t be. To practice your leadership skills, volunteer. There are many organizations out there crying for leadership. There’s nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer. When you have the heart and desire to succeed then you will succeed. Volunteer for success, it’s also a great way to meet new prospects.
Take a moment and look in the mirror. You are staring at both the problem and the solution. You have the power. Everything you require is already inside you. All the questions, excuses, and reasons for failure are there as well. How many of you have been telling the story of why you’re not succeeding, giving excuses to people who don’t care?
Your life is a direct result of what you’ve been trained to think. If everything you’ve been doing isn’t working then doing more of it isn’t going to make a difference.
You can get all the know-how and skills, but if your mind set says you really aren’t ready for success yet, it will find a way to keep itself away from you.
Obsessed is only a word the Lazy use to describe the committed. Get obsessed; become so committed that you don’t care what it takes. You know it’s already waiting for you and align yourself with that vision. Become the person that fits with that life. Everybody is so worried about what everyone else thinks of them that they don’t have the time to think about themselves. Stop worrying about what other people think; free yourself from the chains that are dragging you down. You have everything you need to succeed already. You just have to tap into it and use it.
