A No Excuses II Review (part 1)

First, I want to thank everyone who reads this blog, I truly appreciate every one of you. I don’t think blog readers are thanked enough and I wish I could connect personally with each person out there but there aren’t enough hours in the day. If you have a concern or question, I welcome you to share and if I can help, I will do my best. CLICK HERE if you would like to contact me 1 on 1.

As many of you know, I attended the “No Excuses Summit II” in Las Vegas. I promised many of you that I would share my thoughts about each speaker. I begin that series today with the first speaker at No Excuses, RAY HIGDON. He was asked to speak on the mix of “belly-to-belly” (old-school marketing) vs. internet marketing. Ray is very adept at both. Choosing Ray as the first speaker was a great choice, one year ago he was sitting in the audience at the first No Excuses on his way out of financial devastation. Two years ago he was in personal bankruptcy and going through foreclosure. As he puts it he was in “a financial and mental coma”.

emptypocket Get Out Of Your MLM Coma: A No Excuses II ReviewMany of us have been in our own “financial coma” at some point in our lives, unsure where to go next or exactly what to do. The roads all seem to jumble together until you want to curl up in a ball and just forget everything.

That changed for Ray when he came home from a trip and realized he only had $300 in the bank. As he looked at that he thought “I’m not a $300 in the bank account kinda guy.” And he decided it was time to do something about it. A choice we all make before success can come into our lives.

evilcellphone Get Out Of Your MLM Coma: A No Excuses II ReviewOf the two styles of marketing; Internet Marketing has been used by many as a crutch for those who are fearful of talking to people directly so they build capture pages and drive traffic to their capture page, hoping people will just sign up. Ray tells us,“you need to remember every single person who joins anything online is the warm market of someone, and they’d rather join someone they know, like, and trust.

If you decide to just sit back and hope for leads to magically appear through the internet you’re going to be sadly disappointed.
People want to talk to someone. If they’ve left their phone number then they want to talk to YOU. Over and over again people lose leads that wanted to join them simply because they couldn’t be bothered to pick up the phone or afraid to pick up the phone. If you don’t call, you won’t sign them up. Don’t expect your funnel to do all the work for you.

When you do call them make sure you qualify them. Make sure they’re actually open-minded enough to qualify for your time. Don’t ever chase, beg, or bug anyone. Even if you get them to join, they will not do what is needed to succeed.

Our job is really two things:

1. Present information.

2. Provide options.

changedice Get Out Of Your MLM Coma: A No Excuses II ReviewThat’s all network marketing is really about. No one wants to get in on the ground floor, start a new opportunity, or sell products. They’re looking for a way to change their life, a way to make their dreams come true. Network Marketing isn’t about the products, no matter how good they are, it’s about a better way to succeed.

We’ve all seen what’s happening in corporate America. People are working harder than they ever have to make less than they’ve ever made, and they don’t complain! They do it because their boss knows that waiting behind them are a hundred other people who would gladly take the position and work weekends as well. We can help these people, give them options where they haven’t had any.
Presenting the information can be a little intimidating, especially when you’re contacting someone who you see as better off than you are. An easy way to do this is with a single sentence.

Would you be open to a side project that wouldn’t interfere with what you’re already doing?

If someone says “no”,,, who cares? Repeat that. WHO CARES?

There are a billion other people on this planet looking for what you have to offer. You just have to talk to them.

Sometimes you’ll get a question like: “What’s this all about?”

Just respond: “It’s about me interviewing you to see if you’re a fit for my team and my time.”

If they bring an attitude bring it right back. If they’re really interested they’ll let you know. They may not even be a fit for your team. In that case just tell them you don’t think this is right for them. Just like an employer knows there’s many more applicants waiting to fill a job position there are even more people out there that are looking to join an opportunity like yours.

timefreedom Get Out Of Your MLM Coma: A No Excuses II ReviewI know for me getting into network marketing had nothing to do with money. I was one of the lucky few, already making over a quarter of a million dollars a year in a job that I loved. I wanted time freedom with my family. I passed on many network marketing opportunities because people only focused on money when talking to me. It wasn’t until someone cared enough to find out what was important to me that I finally listened. Everyone wants something different and until we listen we will never know what that something is. We will never find it in a capture page or funnel.

Everyone is so focused on what they want or what they think the prospect wants that we don’t really listen. Some people are interested in the money, some want freedom, some just want to have their own business, or it just might be wanting to feel on equal footing with other people. Maybe just learning to talk face to face or on the phone to someone is all someone desires. That’s it. Nothing more. To be able to look someone in the eye and have the confidence of knowing you can communicate your ideas, no matter if you’re speaking with a pauper or a millionaire.

In everything Ray spoke about this hit me the hardest: You have to structure what you want in order to get it. All of us have something in our lives that we want to change. We wouldn’t be doing this if we didn’t. But just as some may have a plan for learning to speak with people and building their confidence, it is absolutely vital that you have a plan too.

Know what you want. Have a plan in place to get it, and follow the plan.

hardwork Get Out Of Your MLM Coma: A No Excuses II ReviewNow there will come a point where you are successful and you will have people tell you, “Oh, it was easy for you.” People see others who are successful as lucky, or an overnight success, but they’re not. Being successful is going to conferences, being present for meetings. It is working your butt off to get what you want! Discipline trumps talent every single time. Your discipline will build your business. This isn’t about wishing and hoping, it’s about hustling.

Dream, and dream big. Tell everyone your dream, make it a part of your life. Never react if others can’t see your dream. They are not the ones that will help you attain that dream. Be with the people that support your dreams, for they are your true family.

Shoot for the stars. Set those goals then go out and work. And if it’s possible to inspire just one person to shoot for their dreams, to try doing what they never thought possible, then my life has not been in vain.

We all have stories. So many of which aren’t being told. Tell your story. Focus on helping others reach their goals and change their lives, and everything else will fall into place.

Next time we will be discussing The VALUE FACTOR from the second speaker at No Excuses Summit II; Mike Klingler. Click Here to read the next post.

Justin Christiansen’s Dynamic Marketing Secrets

Justin Christiansen’s Dynamic Marketing Secretsjustin christianson Justin Christiansens Dynamic Marketing Secrets

Everyone wants to know the secret sauce to becoming successful in online marketing. This is your lucky day because I am going to reveal the secret. I’m going to trust you not to go spreading this around. This will be just between us.

OK, the secret to success online is – wait for it:

1. Traffic
2. Conversions

A little disappointed? Sorry, that’s all there is to it. No matter if you’re a hot shot guru or a beginner.
The key to all this is, “how much time are you spending on Traffic and Conversions”? I think if you checked, it would be a lot less than you think.

How much time are you spending at the following activities?

· Checking email
· Straightening your desk
· Sharpening pencils
· Facebook
· Planning
· Etc.

There’s a huge difference between being productive and being busy.

Which one do you think makes more money?

Things that fall into the category of making you money:

· Writing articles
· Split tests
· Follow-up calls and emails
· Placing new ads
· New blog posts
· Recording and syndicating ads

Every day when you are doing things ask yourself: “Is this going to get me more traffic or converting that traffic into buyers?” If the answer is no or even maybe, skip that activity and go to things that are a definite yes.

If you can’t track it and measure it, you have no idea what is going on with your site. The master tracker is Justin Christiansen. He started in network marketing in 2002. He became a partner with Mike Dillard. Now he works with clients who pay him up to $60000 to share his marketing knowledge with them.

Let’s talk about tracking.. If you can’t track what you’re doing online you are losing money. You can’t fix something if you don’t know that it needs to be fixed.

So answer these questions:

· How well is my landing page converting?
· How many visitors are coming to my site?
· How many sales did those leads bring me?
· Which source of traffic is bringing me the most leads, the best results?
· How long are people watching my video?
· Where are they looking when they come to the site?
· How long are they on each page?
· Where do I lose them?

When you can answer these questions, all of them, what you don’t know becomes “Now I know” and you can change it. To track these things, get a free basic account at iTrackerPro 300x75 Justin Christiansens Dynamic Marketing Secrets

All of this really boils down to decisions and your DO or WILL DO mentality. So many people say, “I will do that tomorrow”, and then tomorrow comes and they never get it done. Those people who choose to DO things now are the ones that make the money. Do what others are not willing to do. Decide every night before you go to bed the top 5 things you need to do the next day and write them down. Then do not go to bed the next night until those things are done.

Successful people make decisions. They aren’t always the right decisions but decisions are action and action makes money. Don’t be afraid to make those decisions. Fearing the decision will inhibit your life, your dreams, and your goals.

Say NO to opportunities. This is important; opportunities will come across your desk every day that look great. It is so easy to get sucked into the next big thing and get sidetracked from your goals. People think they can be super human but if you take every opportunity you can’t be productive. Opportunities will come and go. Keep your eye on the prize or the opportunities will break you. Focus on one thing and make that one thing a success. Do this before even thinking about doing something else. Persistence and consistency will get you where you want to go. Spreading yourself too thin will not get you there any faster. With ten things you only get 10% of the results. With 1 thing 100%. Decide to focus on one thing and keep the end in mind.

As you go about working your business things will get rough. There will be times you just want to quit and think “What is it all for?” During these times when things get the toughest that you are the closest to reaching your goal. Having the courage and the drive to push through the pain is where you’re going to find the success you are looking for.

Next time we will talk about how you can easily out produce every single person around you so that money is never an issue again with Todd Falcone. Don’t miss these amazing tips that can literally change your life.

Susan Sly’s Life and Business Can Give You A Kick In The TeethSusan Sly No excuses Photo 4 300x200 Susan Slys Life and Business Can Give You A Kick In The Teeth

Let’s imagine the worst possible personal scenario:

1) Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis,
2) Found your spouse cheating with your best friend,
3) Lost your business and went completely broke,
4) Lost everything and had to start sleeping on your brother-in-laws couch.

Sound like a plot in a movie. This really happened to Susan Sly and in less than 4 months. But she refused to be the victim. 3 ½ years later she had built a multimillion dollar business. If you’re going to be a victim you can’t win the game.

Life’s too short to carry around animosity. If you lost everything you had tomorrow, who would you be? Would you even know? So many of us define ourselves by our jobs, our businesses, and/or our families. Stop defining yourself externally and learn to see the greatness in yourself. Forget about an ordinary life, your life can be extraordinary.
Leaders attract leaders. Trying to be perfect is exhausting and others will sense that desperation within you and not want to work with you.

You need to be a HIT leader.

HIT: Humility, Integrity, Tenacity.
Humility – Be able to say I screwed up. I need to do a course correct.
Integrity – Honesty, transparency, doing what you say you will.
Tenacity – Actually doing it, and never stopping

Work with integrity and your values, and learn to take action with them.

The following are 5 steps to reaching your inner greatness.

1. Figure out what YOUR values are.

2. Pursue your passion – Apathy is one of the enemies of network marketing.

P – Prospecting
E – Enrolling
T – Training

3. Take 100% responsibility. – People refuse to take responsibility. What is in your bank account is no one’s responsibility but yours. It’s time to stop the blame game. You have to own the bad with the good. You have to own your life. You can be a victim or you can choose to be a victor, but you can’t be both. The number one problem is that you have gifts and talents but aren’t organized enough to become a millionaire.

4. Out habit your competition – You need to prospect for new business. That means discipline. The root of discipline means to be a disciple of. You must be a disciple of something. Why do you think so many people are coming to this industry? They’re scared, they want freedom, lifestyle, etc. We’re in competition not just with network marketers but with the lies being fed in corporate America. You’re selling the lifestyle.

5. Know your terrain – You’ve got to know your market, customer, language and culture of industry, history of industry, and product, or people won’t work with you. Know your terrain whatever it might be.

You don’t know what you are capable of. You could lead an amazing life but some of you are still playing in the Little League. To play with the professionals and to get to the next level, ask yourself bigger questions. Whatever amount of money you want to make, do people get that amount of value from just being in your presence?

Create an exceptional experience. If you want to be a millionaire give million dollars service.

Pour greatness into others. Let every man or woman be better just for being in your presence. Genuinely, authentically compliment others. There are so many problems in the world that so many of us want to solve, but you have to get wealthy so yotumblr ll86sbuimw1qze0goo1 500 300x300 Susan Slys Life and Business Can Give You A Kick In The Teethu can solve problems important to you.

What goes down eventually comes up. You may have some challenges. Don’t think you’re dwelling there. You are just passing through. You focus on what you are going to do not what you’re going through. If people are criticizing and condemning, you know that it is only making you stronger.

Create a plan. Do not start the day before you end the day. Always plan your next day before you go to bed. Always finish the plan for that day before you make the plan for tomorrow. Never fail on this point and you will never fail.

All distractions are equal. Where your focus goes your energy flows. You can’t ride two horses.

Lastly take time every day for gratitude. Gratitude is your latitude. If you write down 10 things you’re grateful for every single day your income will double in 365 days. If you don’t believe me, prove me wrong. It will cost you nothing and may lead you to freedom.

Next time we’ll talk about dynamic prospecting with David Wood. Learn how to overcome some of the most common objections, and get people to join your company.

Are you in business?

Then you need to know the two fundamentally important items that will make or break your business.

They are:

1) Your Mindset
2) Your Skillset

With the right mindset and skill set you will become the person it takes to succeed and when you talk to people you will be able to reduce the tension and increase the cooperation. Your marketing will get so good that the sales part becomes a piece of cake because very little is actually required. Your business will grow by marketing and attraction instead of selling.

This is where people find you because of the person you’ve already become.Who finds who, and who pursues who is a very dynamic thing in positioning yourself for success. People buy from those they perceive as leaders and those they find valuable to them.

Although everything you need to succeed is already in you, you need to learn to repackage it. Use the stupid human trick. Do one thing over and over again, not only will this make you better at that one thing but it will set you free, knowing you are now an expert at that one thing. Your next level of success, no matter where you are now, demands a new you. You have to learn the skills to pay the bills.

These concepts were developed by Aaron Raskin in his book, “Skillionaire to Millionaire”.Skillionaire2Millionaire Book Resized 245x300 Aaron Rashkin Concepts From Skillionaire to Millionaire

Seventeen years ago Aaron Rashkin was working in a gym 15 and 16 hours a day. There were days he slept in the gym. He was only making $2000 a month. One day he woke up and thought ‘I am better than this’. He loved what he did but had no free time and no extra money to enjoy it. He went in to work one day and hadn’t shaved and was sent home for it. He quit and never worked another day in corporate America again. He has been an entrepreneur for 17 years and 2 ½ years ago brought his business online. Since then he has made 2.5 million dollars.

Take care of the people around you and the money part will take care of itself. Money is just dirty paper with dead presidents on it. If you take care of the people around you, providing them with value that they need and want, then you’ll be able to swim in that dirty paper.

It doesn’t matter what product or service you have until you realize that your true product is people. Learn more about them and what triggers people to take action; the other stuff becomes less important.

If you can show people something that they don’t already know and it changes the way they feel and think then you are of value to them. When you provide value, they see you as a leader.

To be a leader, you must see yourself as being the leader that other people want to follow. If you can’t see yourself as a leader, you won’t be. To practice your leadership skills, volunteer. There are many organizations out there crying for leadership. There’s nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer. When you have the heart and desire to succeed then you will succeed. Volunteer for success, it’s also a great way to meet new prospects.

Take a moment and look in the mirror. You are staring at both the problem and the solution. You have the power. Everything you require is already inside you. All the questions, excuses, and reasons for failure are there as well. How many of you have been telling the story of why you’re not succeeding, giving excuses to people who don’t care?

Your life is a direct result of what you’ve been trained to think. If everything you’ve been doing isn’t working then doing more of it isn’t going to make a difference.

You can get all the know-how and skills, but if your mind set says you really aren’t ready for success yet, it will find a way to keep itself away from you.

Obsessed is only a word the Lazy use to describe the committed. Get obsessed; become so committed that you don’t care what it takes. You know it’s already waiting for you and align yourself with that vision. Become the person that fits with that life. Everybody is so worried about what everyone else thinks of them that they don’t have the time to think about themselves. Stop worrying about what other people think; free yourself from the chains that are dragging you down. You have everything you need to succeed already. You just have to tap into it and use it.

Next time we will talk about what to do with your money to become and remain wealthy with Mike Dillard. Learn some key factors for keeping your money worth something in today’s sluggish economy.

David Wood Throws A Glass Of Water In Your Face

A glass of water in the face; “What was that for”Pattern Interrupt; the fastest way to change the direction of a prospect.

There are abrupt pattern interrupts, like what Tony Robbins has used and there are more subtle pattern interrupts, like having a background of a paradise behind you on a video. David Wood is a master of both. When he appeared on stage at the No Excuses event, he had his fly down. He did this to change the direction of the audience. Mike Dillard had spoken before and had everybody in a doom and gloom mood. David needed to turn the audience around to a more positive perspective.

vandownbyriver 300x123 David Wood Throws A Glass Of Water In Your FaceTwo years ago David Wood was living in an old Dodge van, getting parking and vagrancy tickets from the police, and hoping drug dealers didn’t realize he was watching their deals go down. The last straw came when a cop wrote him a ticket for his last 35 dollars. He rolled over, looked at his wife and said “Something’s got to change.” So he joined Amway and became rich. No, actually he didn’t. He struggled, he changed companies, he talked to anybody who would listen. Pretty much what most of us have done if we’ve been in the business very long. He got on craigslist and began grinding it. He was getting some results but it was painfully slow. He knew there was a better way. He ran across a video on YouTube and 90 days later had his first $25,000 week.

It’s easy to make money when you know how to make money. You just have to know how to get people to do things and structure a logical process to get them to buy what you’re selling.

1. There has to be some lead component. You can go around getting leads at Wal-mart or you can set up a system where you get leads with very little effort.

2. Process – if you don’t have a process or it sucks it doesn’t matter if you get leads. Your process must move someone through the stages of buying. If you don’t control this process or you’re not good at it, people don’t join your business.
When those leads show up CALL THEM.

Say: “Frank, I just noticed you were on my website. I just wanted to give you a call, let you know I’m a real person. How are you doing?”
“What can I do for you?”

Listen to them. Listen for what they need or want. Look for a core need. People won’t tell you that need unless you’re connecting with them. A need is something they talk about emotionally. The second you know what that base need is act like they’re already on your teamand tell them what they need to do; it always involves buying something.
This must be your dialogue to the prospect:

“Are you in front of your computer right now? Are you serious about making an extra $2500 a month? Well here’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to sign you up and get you started on the steps to making that each month.”

Tell them what to do (specific steps) and have them call you back. When they call back, make sure they completed the assignment, re-identify the core need and then show them your core company presentation. Have them watch it right then and call you back when they’re done.

Once they call back its time to enroll them but you have to tell them they’re joining in a non-direct way.

“What did you like best about what you saw in that presentation? Tell me more specifically what it is that you liked about that.”

Write down the connection between what they liked and their base need.

“Here’s my inner circle, you’re going to join this, I’ll enroll you in a moment and then we’ll work together to get a gameplan to create that $2500 a month. Sound fair?”

They say yes.

“Go to this website (your website) tell me when it loads and by the way how is your wife doing? See the page? See that Join now button on top. Go ahead and click that button now.”

The prospect will click the button.

“Go ahead and scroll down to the bottom of the page, there’s a button that says agree. It’s terms and conditions, you can read it later go ahead and click that button now. Are you a guy who can talk while filling things out?” Yes. “Tell me a little more about your kids.”

Continually keep bonding with your prospect.

Most people need to be specifically directed to do something or they won’t take action. Continue telling them what to do until they quit, do something else, succeed massively, become the #1 recruiter, or die.

Money doesn’t mean anything. If you’re emotionally tied to money, life sucks. The only way for you to get money is to have someone give it to you. So the question becomes how can I get lots of people to give me money all the time where they just keep giving it to me? You can sell stuff or do a service. To sell stuff without talking to people you need to learn to influence others through Copy Writing skills…confusing tech language 300x155 David Wood Throws A Glass Of Water In Your Face

Language patterns can be inserted into your presentations that influence people and make them more receptive. Whether you do so consciously or subconsciously it is these language patterns that sell every time.

1. In presentations you want people to be in a trance. We get into a trance several times a day. There are 2 types of language, ambiguous and specific. Ambiguity in language induces trance, specific language pulls people out of trance. Facts without stories and metaphors and allegories don’t stick with people.

2. Imbed a call to action throughout the presentation. Put imbedded commands in your language. For some people this comes naturally but most have to learn this technique. One of the ways you can do this is get several courses, listening to them all the time. Also listen when anyone is trying to sell you stuff. Listen how they talk, what they say, the exact words they use and how they use them. Pay attention and you’ll start picking up the language patterns. Learn the language and you’ll learn how to talk to people, and those people will see you as someone they want to do business with because they will instantly like you.

Next time we will talk about the 4 most important videos you can have for marketing online with Didi Alcheva and Glenn Arcaro.

Buzzy Boxer and Todd Falcone’s Greatest Hits

Todd Falcone Sings The Commodores Hit  “I Can’t Afford It”

“I can’t afford it” – “I can’t afford it” – “I can’t afford it”toddstairs 218x300 Buzzy Boxer and Todd Falcones Greatest Hits
You say it every single day of your life. From those who are struggling to put food on the the table, to those who want that vacation and just can’t take it. If you listen to yourself most people say I can’t afford it at least once a day. Todd Falcone was no different. Growing up he heard I can’t afford it so often that that when he became an adult and started earning money he decided that he would never have to say ”I can’t afford it”.
There is only one business you can join for almost nothing that has an unlimited upside, Todd became a Network Marketer and never has to say, “I can’t afford it” because he is making millions. Now he spends his time teaching others how to do the same thing, and coaching them on changing their lives. He is one of the few that make money doing the things he teaches. Beware of anyone who does not bring in a significant percent of their income doing what they teach. This business changes too fast to be using yesterday’s techniques.
One of Todd’s basic trainings describe six steps to easily out producing every single person around you so that money is never an issue again.

Want to know what they are?

1. Let your beliefs be your guide. – This is the foundation of your success in network marketing. If you don’t get this you won’t get network marketing. You aren’t selling stuff and recruiting people. You are handing people a gift that can completely change their life. When you come from a position of belief no one can touch you.cat belief 240x300 Buzzy Boxer and Todd Falcones Greatest Hits

Ask yourself 2 questions:

o Do people make money in network marketing? When you’re going out into the marketplace you have to have a belief in the system. You can’t believe and doubt at the same time.
o Do people make the money that I want in my life in network marketing? Why would you bother doing something if it’s not going to take you where you want to go? If you’re on a path and it’s not taking you where you want to go you need to get off that path and get on one that will take you there.
After you get the yeses to these questions you can go out into the marketplace and represent network marketing and no one can knock you down.
2. Focus on one thing – If you want to be in the top ten of your company, only do one thing. You aren’t going to achieve freedom by dillydallying around with different deals. If people are making money in your company and you aren’t it’s not the company’s fault. You get to blame you for either your success or your failure.

Pace Buzzy Boxer and Todd Falcones Greatest Hits

No! Not That Kind Of Pace!

3. Pick up the pace– How many people are you talking to? It will take sacrifice. If you love to talk put a timer on for five minutes. If the timer goes off and you’re still on the phone with a prospect get off. Listen to the clues people give you. You don’t need to stay on the phone with people you know aren’t the right prospects. It is just wasting your time.
4. Hire yourself – Go to a mirror and look at yourself and ask the question “Would I hire me?” based on how you’ve been showing up and who you’ve been showing up as. Write that down every day.

Reality check:

Draw a box on a piece of paper. In that box write down how many new people you’ve talked to about your business in the last 24 hours. This really puts it in perspective when you write it down. What did you write down? Was it 5, 10, or zero? This is a business of being personally accountable. Double digits a day keep the commission checks on their way. Talk to at least 10 people every day. It’s not that hard. It’s a numbers game. Line up 30 prospects a day to get double digit numbers. Get off your butt.

On the scale of difficulty, 1 being laying on the couch and 10 being brain surgery, network marketing is a 2 ½. You get paid to talk to people.

5. Learn the skills – Practice the script and make it conversational, and finish what you start. This isn’t boomerang marketing, throwing it out there and hoping it comes back to you. Success comes to those people who go and get it. Get Todd’s “Little Black Book of Scripts” and practice everyday. Refine your telephone skills until every one of Todd’s scripts, every rebuttal, and every close, sounds natural. If you have a problem on the phone, buy some old cheap crappy list off of the internet and make 50 calls, so when you get a good prospect on the phone, you won’t blow it. Always follow up. The money is in the follow-up.
6. Flick the fear – Everybody is scared of something, but if you don’t face that fear it will eat you up and the thing that you fear the most will actually happen. Some of you are frozen. You can’t get yourself to pick up the phone. You will not make money until you make contact with a human being. Here’s what you need to do. Pick up the phone and dial the number. You may stutter, stumble over yourself and perhaps not even say a word, but when you hang up the phone (even if you’re only on it for 30 seconds) check yourself out. Feel your heartbeat, your breath and go “I’m alive.” You aren’t going to die of prospecting.

Then do it again and start linking them together. It will get easier.

Start using your ears. Pay attention to the clues people give you, and even when you hear a no ask the person “Who do you know who is outgoing, who might be interested?” If you don’t ask, you don’t get. Stop focusing on you and start focusing on them.
