How many of you believe that network marketing is the most powerful method for personal and professional development in the twenty first century and your company is leading the charge?
Now let me ask again with a subtle difference.
How many of you believe the general public believes network marketing is the most powerful method for personal and professional development in the twenty first century and your company is leading the charge?
When Chris Gross asked these questions at No Excuses Summit II the first was met with shout and rounds of applause, the second silence. Those of us in Network Marketing have that fierce belief in our company that keeps us going, keeps us walking down that path that will lead to our ultimate goal: Freedom.
But we are pulling our prospects from the general public. 90% of the people who join are gone within the first 12 months. If these statistics were taken to any other sector of the business world they’d be out of business, and yet the network marketing industry does well year after year.
So what gets them in and out so quickly? They come to a meeting, see the people who are part of this industry and think “Hey, they aren’t so much better than me. I can do this.” They go home all pumped up and ready to get going and then run into the buzz saw. That’s right, buzz saw. Those people at home hear what they’ve done and their immediate reaction is “It’s a scam! You’re such an idiot.”
They don’t understand. They don’t realize how much freedom this can provide. So they cut the prospect off at the knees.
To stop this you need to inoculate them. When you sign them up you need to tell them that this could happen and give them something that they can share with these friends and loved ones so they don’t get mowed down. Chris and Josephine Gross have put just that something together. It’s called Network Marketing is… and can be downloaded on their website NetworkingTimes.com for free. When you tell your prospect about this opposition they will see that their upline knows what they’re talking about, and will have some resistance to that buzz saw.
The field force in network marketing and direct sales is 82% women. Every year more of these women are making it to the top of their companies. As they rise not only in network marketing but the business world, things are beginning to change. Network marketers are trail-blazers in this new world arena because you are showing the world that it is possible to build a business based on cooperation, transparency, and integrity; a business that encourages you to take care of yourself, your finances, your family, and your community. A business of partnership where you can only succeed when you help others to succeed.
This business is still about individuals gaining freedom one at a time, but it is also about helping those individuals do more than succeed financially. Network marketing is designed to make the most successful grow as a person into someone that others want to emulate. What better business could there be?
