I Love My Job! So Why Did I Get Into Network Marketing?
Boeing is an American Institution, a staple of our history of innovation in flight, design, and travel. So if it were to suffer then it’s logical to say the rest of the economy would already be as well. Right now the housing market is dying, the fiat dollar is losing its buying power, credit is crunched, the government is fighting to cut the budget enough to just function, and unemployment is at over 20%… what is left to become prosperous or to even survive?
I’ve worked for Boeing since 1979, and I love my job, I seriously believe it’s the best job ever. I am a flight test engineer for Boeing and I love doing it, but I would love my time even more. You never know how precious it is or how much you desire time until you don’t have enough of it to spare or have to ask a boss to “allow” you time off.
That’s why I chose to be involved in Network Marketing, not just to get back my time freedom, but also because of the state of our economy.
First a little back story and a little lesson on how things can get real bad for Boeing as the current financial market worsens.
Boeing’s only major competitor in the production of major airline planes is Airbus, a European company.
With the inevitable demise of the U.S dollar, if and more likely when that happens, Boeing whose prices on production and sale are mostly in US dollars based in dollars, could suffer because of it. Airbus’ production costs are mostly in euro.
So in the past when the dollar appreciated against the euro the cost of producing of a Boeing aircraft rises relative to the cost of producing an Airbus aircraft, and conversely when the dollar falls relative to the euro it is an advantage for Boeing. There are also possible currency risks and benefits involved in the way the aircraft are sold. Boeing typically prices its aircraft only in dollars, while Airbus, although pricing most aircraft sales in dollars, has been known to be more flexible and has priced some aircraft sales in Asia and the Middle East in multiple currencies. With the currency fluctuations between the acceptance of the order and the delivery of the aircraft this can result in an extra profit for Airbus, since it is more flexible with its payment methods, whereas Boeing is not.
The greater and greater possibility of outsourcing for Boeing to maintain its superior status over Airbus, means a much larger chance that those that work in fields for Boeing that can be more easily outsourced, can lose their job. (This can happen to ANY company or job position)
Although at the time I write this Boeing’s profits are up, from last year, their revenues are down substantially and compared with past years (pre-housing bubble, to give you a perspective) Boeing, just like every major company is in danger of a vast decline.
There is one industry that has risen time and time again and contrary to the rest of the business out there, are reporting record numbers, profits, income, revenues, and creates an entrepreneurial spirit unlike any other.
It is Network Marketing.
The only place that encourages free thinking, innovation, creativity, a true team environment, and that allows you to NEVER have a ceiling on your income nor does it require you to clock in to be a slave to the machine and suck your time from you.
If you took the time to read my “About Me” or even if you didn’t, my time is regulated by my job. My freedom is at the end of the tether that I have attached to me in the form of a few hours a week to myself. The rest of my time is Boeing’s to decide.
Network Marketing has allowed me to see that light, which is my precious time, at the end of that glorious tunnel. With the income to match it, time and money…solely mine and for me to decide what to do with both, that is what dreams can be made of.
